Interview with Deborah Wuerslin and Dr. Gez Agolli, ND PhD

NEVER PUT GOD IN A BOX

Deborah had everything to live for: 27 years of marriage to airline pilot Tom Wuerslin, three grown children, and, having recently attended Georgia State University, she had graduated summa cum laude at the same time her children were graduating from their own universities.

Her zeal for meeting people and challenges was perfect for the occasional Campus Crusade for Christ marriage seminars that she and Tom gave for couples in the military. “But I soon realized my physical health was not keeping up with my lifestyle. It wasn't because I was depressed, for I loved my life,” she said. “I had a burning desire to become closer to God, but even while studying his word it was becoming an effort to stay awake.”

Then, after the rehearsal dinner on the day before her daughter's wedding, something went terribly wrong with her body. She was helped into bed in the motel in the hope that sleep would restore her. Deborah made it through the wedding, but in the ensuing days, it was evident that her health was failing: her tears came too easily, friends noticed that her voice had lost its vibrancy, and not even sleep or exercising at the gym helped.

Then came the pain. “Even a gentle hug from someone would hurt. I experienced the maddening effect of restless leg syndrome, chronic bladder and yeast infection, and arthritis was beginning to cause pain clear out to my fingertips.” Deborah thought she was dying.

For several years, she tried health food store supplements before finally seeking medical treatment. She was referred to one specialist after another. They could find nothing wrong, but prescribed pain and antidepressant drugs, none of which seemed to help.

Then a visit from her pastor, Dr. Steve Bingham, along with his wife and several members from First Baptist Church Peachtree City, began to restore her hope and faith. “I told them I felt I was being sucked down a manhole against my will and was losing the fight to reach for a way out. After their prayers, I felt such relief; my spirit was healed.” Deborah began praying that God would teach her as He walked with her through the valley. “I didn't want to experience a difficult time in my life for nothing.”

An answer finally came from a friend who asked her to visit Progressive Medical Center for testing and treatment. Afraid of another disappointment, it took a month before Deborah and Tom finally met with Dr. Gez Agolli at the Center.

She was amazed when Dr. Agolli began their visit by praying with her. He pointed out that God had created her as a unique individual and that her testing and treatment would be just as uniquely tailored for her. Dr. Viktor Bouquette gave Deborah a complete physical, including blood work, saliva and hair analysis, and a study of her nutrition habits. The Progressive Medical team got to the root cause of Deborah’s problems, and the treatments began.

Her diet was individually adjusted with supplements added to build up her system, chelation treatments administered to draw out heavy deposits of lead and mercury, supervised exercises scheduled, sauna sessions programmed to sweat out toxins, her oxygen levels were increased in a hyperbaric chamber, and nutritional IV’s given to build up her immune system.   Finally, she was put on a simple and easy to follow maintenance plan.

Deborah was not healed instantly, but she had faith that Christ, in His own time, utilized others to help in restoring health. Today, she is vibrant, alive, filled with excitement and looking for new challenges. She knows that God used Dr. Agolli and the Progressive Medical Center team, her pastor, husband, and friends to bring her through her troubles. “No matter how dark things may get, I know that you can't put God in a box. He brought me through that dark valley, and now I trust him to show me how to make a difference to the lives of others.”

Deborah’s message is clear: If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, there is hope at the bottom. Instead of covering up your symptoms with conventional treatments and pharmaceuticals, you need to learn the root cause of your chronic medical condition. Set up a visit today with her friends and family at Progressive Medical Center.
